Kimberly Hoff, Director
Ms. Kimberly Hoff Owner/Director of Kimberly Hoff School of Dance and the Clear Lake Rockettes
Competitive Dance team has extensive dance background beginning at a very young age in ballet,
tap, jazz, and drill team. She began her dance education when she was 5 with Sonjia Isham School
of Dance. Her love for dance continued with her High School Drill team where it became clear she
had talent with choreography. She began dancing professionally at the age of 17 at Six Flags over
Texas Astroworld and the Theater Under the Stars. She has trained and performed with well known
Houston area choreographers such as Delia Stewart, Glen Hunsucker, Stephen Boyd, Alex and Victoria
Arizpe. She danced for the NFL's Houston Oiler Derrick Dolls and was a member of their show troupe.
With this organization, she traveled abroad to places such as Japan and Mexico. She danced
professionally in Los Angeles and Las Vegas with Spell Bond Productions in several well known shows.
She has worked with children in the Clear Lake area in excess of 10 years. She began teaching dance
in the studio she grew up in at the age of 16. Since then she has become an expert in her field, which
is why her studio is one of the most recognized dance studios in the Clear Lake area. Her multitude of
talents have earned the Clear Lake Rockettes National Titles 5 years running. She has won numerous
choreography awards and several of her students have gone on to obtain dance scholarships. Not only is
Kim an outstanding dance instructor, but has a very positive attitude about life. Her main goal is to
make each student feel special and enhance their self-esteem and confidence. Kimberly is married to
Danny Hoff and hs two children, Daniel and Jessica.
Eve Hamons, Assistant Director
Originally from Delaware, Eve’s interest in dance began soon after she and her family moved to Pearland, TX in 1990. She was trained at Dancescape by Joyce from 1990-1995. A member of the Pearland Prancer Drill Team directed by Shannon Foust, she also focused on modern dance at Bonnie Siscoe School of Dance for several years. Her interests included choir where she assisted with the choreography for several musicals. She graduated from Pearland High School in 1998 and began her education at San Jacinto College where she earned two dance scholarships. She graduated with her Associates in Science and then transferred to the University of Houston to pursue a dance degree. In 2004 she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and completed her teaching certification. Soon after, she accepted a job at Galena Park High School teaching dance classes and directing the Drill Team. In 2005 she left Galena Park to teach dance and direct the Alvin High School Jacketeers. Eve has been choreographing and teaching dance with Kimberly Hoff in the Clear Lake area since 1999. She enjoys working closely with the students and the family environment that the studio exudes.
Jenna began dancing at an early age in Friendswood, Texas. She studied under numerous Competitive Dance Teams where she excelled in Team, Officer, Solo and Duet Routines; winning multiple National Champion Titles. She graduated from Friendswood High School in 2006 where she was a 4- year member of the Mustang Football Cheerleaders. She then continued her education at Blinn College in Brenham, Texas where she accepted a Full Dance Scholarship for the Blinn Treasures Dance Team. Jenna has been choreographing and teaching for the Rockettes for 6 years; focusing on the Elementary and Intermediate age levels. Jenna currently resides in League City with her husband and young son. She takes pride in maintaining a positive learning environment and creating long-lasting memories with all her students.
Shannon graduated summa cum laude from The University of Alabama with a BA in dance, training with Cornelius Carter, Rita Snyder, Sarah Barry and Qianping Guo. While at Alabama, she performed many roles including Hate from José Limón’s There is a Time, Cinderella in Cinderella, and Rita in Thoroughly Modern Mille. Other credits include Swan Lake, La Bayadere, and The Nutcracker. Shannon represented her university as a dancer and choreographer at the American College Dance Festival and Alabama Dance Festival for several years. She also attended the American Dance Festival as a scholarship student. At Alabama, Shannon was a charter member of the University Fellows Experience and served as President of her sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta. After graduation, Shannon returned to Houston to dance with the Houston Metropolitan Dance Company and teach in the community where she grew up. Shannon danced with The Clear Lake Rockettes of Kimberly Hoff School of Dance and Jill Rauscher School of Dance since the age of 3 training in all styles--ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, modern, and pointe. She was also a member of the Clear Lake Flairs and lead as Captain her senior year of high school. Currently, Shannon looks forward to performing as a Principal Dancer in Houston Grand Opera’s production of Show Boat next year and enjoys cultivating young artists in her hometown.
