The Clear Lake Rockettes is one of the most successful dance teams in the state of Texas. The Rockettes are known for their creative, entertaining, clean, and exciting routines. All age levels have won numerous awards in the past six years of organization. At the National level at least two or all four teams have wone best overall team for the past five years. National Jackets are given to the highest scoring private dance team in attendance, and Rockettes have won this honor 3 years out of the 5 years they have attended MA Nationals.
The Clear Lake Rockettes are a competitive dance team organized into 5 age divisions. To become a
Clear Lake Rockette you must audition in the months of April, May, and June. Each Rockette performs
in at least 3 dances. August begins our season and we attend two mandatory camps before school starts.
September through December each team prepares 3 routines in categories of Jazz, Pom, Lyrical, Hip Hop,
Novelty, and Prop. These routines are perfected and taken to competition January through March. We end
our season with a Spring Show where we also showcase our students in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Hip Hop
classes. The selected dancers on Rockettes are dedicated, hardworking, and ready for a competitive atmosphere.
While striving as a team to come together and achieve a common goal we also strive to build character,
self-esteem, and sportsmanship with teammates and other dance team competitors. Ask around and you will
